Compostable? What is it exactly? We are happy to explain it to you.

When something is compostable it means that it is made from 100% natural materials and that the material can be trashed and broken down in a more environmentally friendly way. The main benefits are that less CO2 is needed for the production and less waste is sent to landfill.

Communication is the key to success

The first step has been made; you choose compostable packaging! Step two is the step that will make the difference: transparent communication. Tell the end consumer/your customer that the packaging is made of 100% natural materials and can be composted. You can do this through communication on the packaging. Our pouches are EN13432 certified, which means they can be disposed of in the organic waste*. Ask for our free Planet Proof logos.

How to select the correct size?

Step 1: Place an empty measuring cup on an scale.
Step 2: Fill the measuring cup with the total weight of the product you want to package.
Step 3: Read how many ML is in the measuring cup. Now you know what size you need.
