Many stand-up pouches are recyclable. This depends on the materials they are made from. Stand-up pouches made only of mono materials

 such as polyethylene (PE) or polypropylene (PP) can be recycled. Some stand-up pouches are composed of different materials, which makes recycling more complex, but can be used as fuel for power plants through waste separation.

To find your suitable stand-up pouch, you can consider the following points: 

• What do you like and fit well with your product and corporate identity?
• Volume: determine what size you need for the quantity you want to pack of your product.
• Properties: what does your product need to stay fresh? Think resealability, heat resistance and/or protection against oxygen and moisture.
• Finishes: take a valve if you are packing coffee, choose a window if you want to see the product. Choose from many options to make the bag more beautiful: shape, matt or gloss, and so on.
• Closure: choose a suitable closure option. Do you want a zipper or not? Or a front zipper? Or is your product liquid and do you need a spout?
• Durability: how important do you think this is? Will you choose a stand-up pouch that is fully recyclable?

We have stand-up pouches available in all shapes and sizes. The contents are listed in millilitres because each product has its own volume. 1 kg of tea has a different volume than 1 kg of coffee. On the product page you can select the size you need.

As standard, our stand-up pouches have a zip closure. This is the most common way of resealing a stand-up pouch. You can close the zipper by pressing both sides together with your two fingers. Small sizes do not always have a zipper because it makes the opening less manageable. We then offer the bags with or without a zipper. You will find this information in the product specifications. Besides the standard zippers, there are many other zippers on the market. Think of Velcro zippers, double zippers, special zippers for powdered products, tear-off zippers, slider zippers and more. We can add these zippers to a stand-up pouch from 10,000 pieces. Feel free to ask about the possibilities.
