Does adding a measuring scoop fall under the new PPWR regulation?
No, the European Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) does not affect measuring scoops. The legislator considers a measuring scoop to be a utensil (a tool to dose the product) and not packaging material. You can therefore safely add our measuring scoops to your packaging without it counting towards the PPWR targets.
What can I do if the exact size for my product is not listed?
Is your ideal volume size just not in our standard assortment? No problem! The most practical and cost-effective solution is to choose a smaller scoop. You can advise the user on your product label to simply scoop more often (for example: "use 2 scoops per serving"). This saves the costs of a custom-made mold and is just as clear for the end user.
How do I know how many grams of my product fit in a measuring scoop?
Our measuring scoops are always expressed in milliliters (ml) or cc, and not in grams. This is because the weight per scoop depends entirely on the specific weight (density) of your powder or granulate. After all, a scoop of heavy powder weighs more than a scoop of light powder. We recommend first weighing your product yourself in a known measuring cup to calculate exactly what volume (mL) you need.
Are the measuring scoops suitable for direct food contact?
Yes, absolutely. All our measuring scoops are food-grade and produced according to the strict European guidelines for materials that come into contact with food. They are completely safe to use in products such as sports nutrition, supplements, coffee, spices, and baby food.
Are the measuring scoops recyclable?
