Discover the differences between a K-seal and a straight seal for side gusseted pouches! K-seals are incorporated into the sides of the side gusset bag. This seal ensures that the bag stands upright more firmly than the straight seal. The straight seal is not incorporated into the side. Instead, this seal runs down the middle of the spine of the side gusset bag.

 

Another advantage of the K-seal is that a seal in the side of the bag is a lot less noticeable than the straight seal. How do you know what protection your product needs?
It depends on how sensitive your product is to air, moisture, light or odours. Ask yourself: does it lose taste or aroma quickly, choose a high oxygen barrier, such as EVOH or aluminium. Does it get soft or clump due to moisture, choose a moisture barrier film. Is it sensitive to light, consider an opaque or metallized layer. Do you want it to remain recyclable, a mono PE or mono PP with a light barrier coating is often the best choice. Not sure? Contact one of our specialists, we are happy to help.
Can I get a sample?
Need a sample to test your product in a stand-up pouch? You can certainly do that with us! It's free with the first request too. Make your choice of product and select the size you need. You can then select a sample using the Sample button. We will send you up to 6 samples free of charge. Go to our samples page to request a sample for a stand-up pouch!
At what quantities after 2,500 units do I get further discounts?
Volume discounts start at 2,500 units. The more you buy, the lower the price. We pass on the efficiency of handling in production and logistics to the customer. How do I determine which size I need?
To determine the correct size, you need a measuring cup and a (kitchen) scale. Place the measuring cup on the scale and fill it until you reach the weight you want to pack. Now, check how many milliliters the measuring cup is filled with, and you'll know which size you need! See the steps below for visual examples.  Step 1 Place an empty measuring cup on a scale.  Step 2 Fill the measuring cup with the total weight of the product you want to package.  Step 3 Read how many ml there are in the measuring cup. Now you know which size you need!
Where can I find a price overview?
The tiered prices are listed with each product. Select the size and quantity, and the prices will be displayed. Contact us if you need prices for larger quantities.
How can I get a sample?
You can request up to 6 different samples for free to test with your product! On any product page, click the ‘Sample’ button to request a sample of that pouch. Or use our configurator to find out which pouches suit your needs!
