Order process

Here we show the steps of the ordering process. The average lead time for customised pouches is 8 to 12 weeks. There is a difference for transport by air: this will reduce the lead time by approx 4 weeks.

The minimum order for customised packaging is 10,000 pouches. For rotogravure printing this is 10,000 pieces per size per design and for digital printing several designs per size are possible.

What is digital print?

Flexible and simple

Digital printing technology makes it possible to produce small numbers with multiple designs faster. This solution is less costly than traditional printing, but offers many advantages.

HP Indigo 2000

The HP Indigo 20000 is the industry's top-of-the-range printing system providing many new opportunities (for flexible packaging).

The 7-colour palette will create up to 97% of PMS colours. Your artwork is therefore top-quality.

Pouchdirect will make a unique technical drawing (die-line) for each customer, so that your designer can submit the correct design.

Food safety

Producing tailor-made pouches is a careful process. All our pouches have 'certificate of conformity', which means that the pouches are 100% compliant with European food safety requirements for food processing. These are Regulation (EU) No. 10/2011 plus amendments to Regulation (EU) 2020/1245, Regulation (EC) No. 2023/2006 and Regulation (EC) No. 1935/2004.
