Yes, provided that the materials used are approved for direct food contact. The required inner layer and barrier depend on the product. Dry foods such as tea, herbs or nuts have different packaging requirements from coffee or highly oxygen-sensitive products.

Kraft paper itself provides only limited protection. The actual barrier performance usually comes from an additional inner layer. Depending on the material structure, this layer can protect the contents against moisture, oxygen, light and loss of aroma.

A stand-up pouch with a window makes the product directly visible and is a good choice for visually appealing contents. A fully closed pouch provides more space for your design and offers better protection for light-sensitive products.

Yes. From 5,000 units, we can print stand-up pouches with your own design and, where required, develop them entirely to measure. For smaller quantities, stock pouches can be personalised with your own label or sticker.

That depends on the material structure. All-paper pouches may be recyclable through the paper stream under certain conditions. Pouches made from a combination of paper and plastic often consist of several layers and may be more difficult to recycle. A recyclable mono-material pouch with a paper-look finish can be an alternative.

Do not look at weight alone. Product volume and shape are equally important. Tea, coffee, nuts and powders all have a different filling volume at the same weight. The best approach is to request a sample and test the pouch using your own product.

A degassing valve is usually recommended for freshly roasted coffee beans. It allows roasting gases to escape while preventing oxygen from entering the pouch. For ground or fully degassed coffee, a different version may be suitable depending on the product.
