How do I choose the right coffee pouch size?

For each coffee pouch on our website, we indicate how many grams of coffee it can hold. This applies to both coffee beans and ground coffee. A 500-gram pouch is therefore suitable for 500 grams of coffee beans as well as 500 grams of ground coffee.

Still unsure? Request a free sample and test the pouch with your own product.

Should a coffee pouch be heat-sealed after filling?

Yes. For a secure closure, we recommend heat-sealing the pouch above the zipper. The seal shows that the packaging has not yet been opened and helps protect the coffee during storage and transport. After opening, the zipper can be used to close the pouch again.

When does a coffee pouch need a coffee valve?

A coffee valve is suitable for freshly roasted coffee. It allows excess gases to escape from the pouch while preventing oxygen from entering. This helps preserve the freshness, flavour and aroma of the coffee for longer.

How does a coffee pouch help keep coffee fresh?

A suitable coffee pouch protects the coffee against oxygen, moisture and light. The material barrier, a secure seal and, where needed, a coffee valve help preserve its flavour and aroma. The final shelf life also depends on the coffee, the filling time and the storage conditions.

Can I test coffee pouches before ordering?

Yes. You can request free samples to assess the size, material and pouch model yourself. This allows you to see which coffee pouch best suits your product and brand.
